The Wright Family, in this volume, begins in England around
1424 AD with Henry Wright. My line of descent leads me to
the Wright family through my maternal line - Coleman. It
begins with the marriage of Hannah Wright, to John Coleman,
Sr., in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut on 24 April
1695.
My Wright family in America, begins around 1635 with the
arrival of Thomas Wright, from England. This is a rich family
history with cousins traveling to all corners of America.
If you have Wright Ancestors in your own family, you may

The Aaron Stark Family: Seven Generations of the Descendants of Aaron Stark of Groton, Connecticut
By Charles R. Stark
Paperback: $17.00 Hardcover: $25.00
This book was originally published by Charles R. Stark in 1927 for the Stark Family Association. Some of my maternal family is connected to this line of Starks so I was excited to find a scanned image of the book. The scanned images of the book were difficult to read in many cases, presumably because the original work was prepared on a typewriter. So I decided to edit the work and publish a cleaner edition for addition to my genealogical library. This line of descent goes back to the early colonial days of America. You will see the Stark’s participation in King Philip’s War, the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War and more. Stark family members were killed in the Wyoming County massacre, and participated in seafaring from the coast of Connecticut.
